True freedom eludes us unless we release the burden of the past.
Painful and negative experiences often leave a profound impact on us, with trauma being the result of particularly distressing events. However, the same principle applies to any negative memory, wound, or disappointment.
Consequently, our freedom in the present is compromised, as we continually act under the influence of this unresolved past we carry with us. This unresolved past directs our emotions and thoughts, directly affecting our well-being, stress levels, and overall performance.
While there’s much talk about living in the ‘here and now,’ it’s essential to acknowledge that, as humans, we are deeply shaped by our past experiences.
To achieve freedom in shaping our present, we must confront what may be the most significant challenge on the Transformative Path: letting go of the past.
This is the invitation extended to you for our intensive online course with Dr. Shai Tubali and Tamar Brosh.
